First Floor Framing

We went this evening and took pictures of the house that has gone from just a foundation to the first floor being framed in one week.
I'm so excited.
But…I honestly cant wait to see the second floor done too.
 Patience is hard.
Oh. So. Hard.

View from the street.
Our house faces south east at and is just five lots from our previous home.
We love living at my parents, but can't wait to go home again.  We desperately miss our neighborhood and all the wonderful people there.
The room on the right of the picture is the office with the three car garage taking up the rest of the front exterior of the home.
The tall wall framed on the right side of the picture is the stairs with a large window facing east.  Grady will love this window!

View of the back of the house from the very back of our lot.
The four windows on the left are our family room, the two windows in the middle are to our dining room, the transom window is in my pantry and the doorway on the right is the garage door.

View from the north east side.
Back porch and view of the french doors from the dining room.

Cute shoulder rides for little boys not wearing shoes.

West side of the house.
Yes…its an empty wall but is perfect as it will hopefully sooner than later be fenced for all of Steve's cars.  (Love ya sweetie!)

 South-east side of house.

East view where windows either side of the fireplace can be seen.

He tried so hard to climb on the second floor all the while I was clutching my chest in horror.

Inside view of future kitchen and dining.
Hallway to mud room and pantry can be seen on the left.

View from dining area into family room.

View of family room from where my kitchen island will be.
